Symptoms

54 year-old male with hip pain noticed after attempting to run a 100 yard dash.

Diagnosis

Osteochondroma (white arrows) arising from the posterior aspect of the femoral neck with associated strain of the obturator externus muscle (black arrow) stretched over the osteochondroma, seen on sagittal T1-,axial fat-suppressed T2-, and axial T1-weighted images. (Thanks Dr. Kallman)
