Symptoms

75 year-old male with acute onset of left hip pain after falling. Plain radiographs were normal.

Diagnosis

Acute occult intertrochanteric fracture, as seen on coronal T1-weighted (black arrows) and fat-suppressed T2-weighted (white arrows) images.
